Hope New Generation Leads Civil Society Efforts in Environmental Protection and Climate Change Mitigation in Burundi

Hope New generation conducts the debate conference on the role of civil society organizations in the environment protection and climate change limitation factors.

In Burundi, Hope New generation comes as a major lead in the society transformation from poverty to self empowerment.

During that debate, Dr Leonard Ngendakumana sensitized the civil society community in Burundi to bring their own contribution in the preservation of environmental spaces with much emphasis on Ozone Layer protection.

He recommended the Burundian civil society organizations to act hand in hand either in fundraising or in taking action while designing projects aimed at preserving environment. The civil society organizations as the key partners to release the world from environmental disasters.

One of the recommended solutions to climate change and disaster management solution was to support the governmental program on reforestation consisting of trees plantation which can attract rain and refresh the soil as well.
